UFLI 13 Roll and Read Game for Two

Grades: 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, Kindergarten
Subjects: Phonics, Early Literacy, Reading
Standards: Isolate and pronounce the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (This does not include CVCs ending with /l/, /r/, or /x/.) (RF.K.2.d.)

Student Instructions

1. Click add 2. Player on left goes first. Click the 🎲 to roll. Choose a word from THAT column to cover with your playing piece, a blue rectangle, and read the word. If you read it right, you can leave your piece. If not, you need to put your piece back. 3. Player on the right (green) goes next and does the same. 4. When all words are covered, blue player clicks on the blue microphone and reads all of the blue words. Green then records using the green microphone. 5. Click check to turn in!

Teacher Notes (not visible to students)
